                   Hi Again! I am Neriah Rabilas and now I'm posting this blog to finally say it ends,4th quarter is ending and the school year 2022-2023 is closing. The final chapter of our junior high school is ending, I feel sad because I will miss the bond with my teacher and classmates that will turn into a memorable school year of my life. Many Challenges and Hardships we had gone but we succeeded till the end of the school year. Moreover, I have been wondering if this School Year will end as good or bad but I'm hoping it will be a good ending.

           School Year 2022-2023 is my life's most memorable and fun year. I will never forget the section named 10-Markov, They are the most precious friend that god had given me although we have so many misunderstandings and many issues, this section will be the most unforgettable ever in my life. Also, From 1st to 4th Quarter I have been aiming in being with honor and so I am, where I feel thankful to god and my parents cause they are the one who guide, support, care and protect me everyday. Furthermore, This last quarter is draining cause of some school work that we must submit til deadline and it leads to stress or breakdown on us, even though it is stressing I tend to think positive. It is really is draining but when I'm with my friends I feel a lot of hope, a hope that help me overcome my challenges, Actually they are the one who always save me when I'm in the merge of breakdown. I feel so thankful because even though they have to worry for themselves too they always care for others first. Moreover, I will not only just be thanking to my friends but also to my inspiration out there who'm I admire from a far, I feel so thankful that you've come into my life even though you didn't know me, I just feel thankful to you and hoping that I will able to be friend to you. Lastly, This journey of my junior highschool give's me a lot of learnings, so many that i applied it in my daily lives, Even though i got hurt sometimes, I know that pain will go away, I feel also so sorry to all for some reasons. I know that this journey is very unforgettable, this will be my always favorite at all times.

           Special mention to our teacher in ICT, Ma'am Evelyn Vera Cruz who teach us about computer, coding's, and many more. I feel so thankful to you ma'am even though we are noisy but still obedient. It feels like a day when we know you as our teacher where it feels like when the first day of school till end. Just many more days and we will not see each other again ma'am and no more greetings from us. Even though it feel sad were always here to support and you will be forever in our hearts ma'am. Again, Thank you for all Ma'am, Goodluck Everyday and be pretty as always ma'am.

                    

                    Everyday journey of my life has been challenging but i know someone is there to help me who is also now a part of my loved ones, we started as strangers but will left as a friends by keeping so much memories. Being with them give me joy everyday, I will miss my friends so much. School Year 2022-2023 will be the most unforgettable school year for me . To those who is reading this blog, I say CONGRATULATION!, no more words that's it, and I feel thankful too cause you have been part of my journey in junior high school. Goodluck again in our most hectic journey, Congrats Guys!

Dreaming is the only thing that I will do every time I sleep but that's not what it means in this blog. A dream is a cherished aspiration, ambition or ideal starting from our childhood. Where in our childhood, our dreams is full of imaginations and fantasies like our dream is to have a superpower like Spiderman and others. Moreover, A dream is a part of every people, they dream for their job, future and etc.

I see myself 10 years from now as  a successful business woman and as a successful person. I've been fantasizing myself as a CEO of a company where in I overcome some challenges that may be hard or cost a lot. Furthermore, Being a CEO in a company has been part of my dream since 1st year Junior High School. I know that being a CEO is difficult dream to reach but in my mind I never thought of failing and Pursuing my dream is the best goal in my life. I have many dreams in my mind like being a Doctor, Lawyer, Chef and CEO which this encourage me to study well and keep learning for my future, also to help my family where in we are encountering some problems. This Dreams has been set for a goal in my mind, I know that in the future I can be a successful woman that reach her dreams come true.

Dreaming anything is not bad but rather this can help you in the future, like now you are a student who have been dreaming to become a doctor while encountering some problems in your life so you keep encouraging yourself that you must study well and keep setting your goals then achieve it. Like the quote said “Nothing is going to stop you from fulfilling your dreams. And you deserve every last one of success I know you will have.” Michelle Obama. Just believe in yourself and focus in achieving your goals in life, I know that you can do it.

What is actually a change? A change is defined as the act or instance of making or becoming different which has positive and negative aspects in our life. Also changing helps you in every way but not all like changing your answer in a test. Furthermore, I want to share my experience on how I changed through time. Which it solves the problems in my life, either good or bad

Me in my Childhood

         Do you believe that the picture on the left is me? and also the right is me? you didn't notice right because the answer is yes, the two pictures are the same person and that is me. In these pictures, I will explain how did I change from being unattractive to having good skin and white skin. My classmates say that in my baby pictures, I look like neither to them and that is because I change myself by applying some products that could help me whiten my body and face. Furthermore, not only my visual did I change but also being an introverted person, in the past years I'm actually a shy person but now is a mix of introvert and extrovert, I intently change for myself and others cause being a shy person can't help me resolve a problem. My sexuality also change, I am not out yet to my family but I want you to know that I'm actually a Bi, I have likings both boy and girl but now I am loyal to my crush even though she doesn't know me but I want to know her and be close to her when the school end. There is much more that I want to share with you about me changing my life but they are the most private revision of my life. In addition, I change for the better and for myself to be able to look up again, to start a new life.

"Mother"

                   When you say mother, what you mean is the one who supports you, the one who sacrifices for you but what in the dictionary means a female parent. A Mother has been a part of a family for though without her, you are not born. Also, a mother has responsibilities, roles, and other jobs to do for their family but what most amazing job they are doing is sacrificing but not all mother is great right? we can tell whether a mother is good or bad. However, We can't really tell if our mother is the most perfect mom in the world why? because sometimes they tend to not show their feelings or emotions to their children .Furthermore, we also call them as our hero, why? because even though without a father they are the ones who provide us, our safety, food and other things. My mother, I can tell that she is beautiful the most beautiful girl in dad's life.

              I can say that my mother is not perfect but she has the most kindest and softest heart in the world even though i get carried away that I talk back and shout at her but what she did is talk back to teach me the way on how to properly explain my worries or my feelings, like manner. Also, my mother is my first ever teacher in my growing up era, she really teach me hard but i feel sorry because right now I cant even do a proper job like doing chores at home. I sincerely apologize for my behavior towards my mom and family, so this day, celebrating the mothers day or "Araw ng mga nanay" is I give all my love, care and support towards my mother, although I can give her any gift cause I don't have enough money to buy her a present this mothers day but I promise to myself that in her birthday we will give her a usable present ever. I love my mother so much even though we got scold everyday, my love for her will never end. Not only my mother which I care the most but also to other mothers, soon to be a mom, single mom, aunty and grandma.

                In Conclusion, Mother's Day is an occasion which is celebrated in various parts of the world to express respect, honor, and love towards mothers. The day is an event to honor the contribution of mothers, acknowledge the efforts of maternal bonds and the role of mothers in our society. Although, different countries celebrate the occasion on different dates, the common months of the celebrations are March or May. Mother's Day is a similar effort like other celebrations like Father's Day, Siblings Day, Grandparents Day and others.

              The world is full of humankind, a kind, ungrateful, diligent, and lazy souls. Where Every human in the world has responsibilities or roles to follow, like being a good citizen in a community or around the world. However, they are a part of our life whom we should be thankful. in every first day of may, we celebrate the day of workers and also known as the “labor day”.

               International workers day, also known as Labour day in some countries, is a celebration of  labourer's  and the  working classes  that is promoted by the international  Labour movement  and occurs every year on first day of may. Labour day in many countries is celebrated on a different date, often one with special significance for the labour movement in a country. In Philippines, labor day is celebrated annually to celebrate hardworking Filipinos across the country. Also, labour day in Filipino is known as ‘Araw ng Mga Manggagawa’, where many Filipino always await for this holiday to relax and spend the day with their family and friends. Moreover, these activities draw attention to their complaints, which include the minimum wage, inhumane working conditions, and other issues that undermine the rights of employees. every hardworking Filipino is celebrated on this day, no matter what their job is.

               In conclusion, workers must have a holiday and we must celebrate to commemorate their hard work or hardships to suppl their needs, family and to our society. They are the most important people or citizen in the world for though without them, our society will not go up, no more new products and etc.  We must make importance about them so that they will feel the love and care we have for them. To all workers out there, I thank and salute you very much, keep doing the best job for our society. Thank you Workers!

I can say that it is fun and enjoyable learning this third quarter even though Many challenges I encounter are difficult but with trust in myself, I overcome them. This third quarter I learned much like codings, how to make HTML, webpage, and others. Moreover, I have many complaints but what I think is "This is for me and my future", Through this third quarter I have always had a positive mind and been cheerful as always.

I must say that the third quarter is very enjoyable because I become more of a study person, just focusing on learning cause I want to be on the honored list again even though I'm not satisfied with myself, my scores, recitations, and others in this quarter. the challenges I encounter like cramming, not managing time, stress, and lack of sleep, this challenges I encounter are like a battle that I overcome, it is difficult and not passable. Furthermore, I overcome them with great solutions like having a positive mindset as always, setting an alarm to be correct in time of sleep, managing my time by setting schedules for what to do first and last, and stress, I open some of my problems to my peers like my friends whom I trust the most, my family, who is always there for me and others. This challenges of mine may seem difficult but overcoming it with a positive thinking and mindset can help you more in doing a good decisions. This quarter may seem very hectic for me or even my classmates but we never forget to enjoy and have fun in the lowest point in us, in which we are united when we need help from each other and if someone needed us. 

In this Third quarter I learned also that having someone by your side, who loved, cares, and teaches you is the best armor or shield, that encourage you to be more confident, that you can do it even for a little mistake they know that you can  do it. This quarter is very enjoyable and fun even though we crammed sometimes. Hoping for more improvement and hoping to be in the honor list again, good luck to the last quarter, goodbye third quarter.

"Holydays:erience"

 "Holidays:erience"

                 The holy week also known as "Semana Santa" in the Philippines is celebrated every month of April, which starts on Palm Sunday to the Sunday before Easter. The week also includes five days of special significance, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday Easter Sunday.  Holy week is a part of our life to celebrate in which we must celebrate it no matter what happens because this is a very important holiday in our life.

Starting on Sunday or which is called Palm Sunday where we Celebrate Jesus's triumphant entry into Jerusalem, In which I go to church with my aunt and we buy "palapas" where we will shake or wave to be blessed by the Father. Palm Sunday also has a lot of happenings, when we are going to Vigan from Sta. Catalina my uncle said that there is an accident on the highway,  so my uncle drive carefully so that we can't be in an accident. Maundy Thursday Commemorates the foot washing and the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, what I did in the day was do some house chores/cleaning, do some schoolwork, and rest. Good Friday Commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary, this is where we couldn't eat meat, I feel sad because I can't eat my favorite food which is "tultulang na sinigangan", in the afternoon at 3:00 pm we go to church, and attend the "libot" where many people from each barangay in our municipality attended, we buy a candle and

light it as we walk with the saints we are parading and honestly, it is so windy that we cannot light the candle so I just walk without lighting the candle after the libot we all leave in the church and go home. Holy Saturday Commemorates Jesus' body resting in the tomb, what I did in the day was do some house chores/cleaning, do some school work, and rest. Lastly, the Easter Sunday when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and his victory over death, I woke up early in the morning to go to the beach because it is easter sunday or we called it "the Sabado Gloria" which my family cooks some food to take it with us and eat at the beach, we had so much fun in the beach, we swim, have fun and eat, after we finish we go home. After we got home I didn't realize that my body is full of sand that comes from the beach, at 3:pm in the afternoon I got ready for we will attend the mass for Easter Sunday, and I wore my best outfit for it. 

           This holy week is a memorable one for me despite the bad happenings, also even though there might be some accidents and lots of happenings, we all know that god has been with us, who forgive and guide us through our life. Also, we must never forget that this holy week is important.

"A Big Occasion"

                          A big occasion occurs on March 25, 2023, at Ilocos Sur National High School. Yet, It's the 121st Anniversary of the school with the theme "Renewed Commitment in Defying odds to transcend heights of excellence and solidarity", Where many performances, intermissions, and addresses have been done during this celebration.

                Students and Teachers have been practicing for a whole day to present fascinating and beautiful performances for the occasion. Moreover, This occasion gave me a very unforgettable experience in which I enjoyed the fascinating performances of the students.  Students who participated in the performance looked so cheerful and energetic and that's the reason why we were hyped about their dancing and cheering, we cheered and enjoy it a lot. After the performances end, we go to our classroom and cool down for a minute before we go home. 

              On this occasion I realize that enjoyment and happiness can be filled with us when we are united just like this high school day, students and teachers unite to show fascinating performances and cheer for each other a lot. Despite not participating in this high school day we were overwhelmed by the performances that they shared with us. This may be the last high school day we participate in this school year but it is the most unforgettable experience of mine where my classmates, teachers, and friends are there to be with us, and to enjoy ourselves.

             The month of March is celebrated for women, it’s called National Woman Month. It celebrate the achievements, experiences, gender equality, empowerment and ohers, This month is also very important to women or to the whole world, not only to recognize what women have done. Women are also called "Strong Independent Woman" because of their hard work, perseverance and intelligence. So here we examine how they should be treated and the gender equality.

 

           People nowadays have their own role’s, Men and Women but Women have more responsibility, that’s why they are so called “Strong Independent Women”. They have a very caring, lovable and nice personality, not all but we find women for what they are and accept them for who they are. Women’s is also very talented and creative, they are good in solving problems, they can carry heavy things and others. Discrimination is the first issue that has to women because in the past women and men have no equality, it is all men that has a power to  be the principle, president and other. Until as time passes by it all phases out, The orders that have been made is all gone, Gender Equality comes that’s why now is so peaceful. Peacefulness is what we all want and that will give us a positive and happiness from each other. Women's must be love, care and protected they are the best when it comes to things, where even men couldn't do.

 

          Women are beautiful whatever their size, weight, face, skin, sex and other. We all have the same role’s but not all is the same. We have our own responsibilities so that’s why we must keep up the good work we are doing. Also men Should not discourage women’s so that in the end we will find love and peace from each other. Labanan ang karapatan ng mga Babae at iwagayway ang bandera!

                    A great morning has woken me up cause it's valentine's day. Valentine's day is where we celebrate in the month/day of February 14 and give flowers or gifts to our loved one's, also valentine's day is said to be "Araw ng mga puso". This Valentine's Day is said to be for couple but for me it is not because we can give flowers to our parents, friends, teachers and others. Valentine's day is just an ordinary day but sometimes people think that this is a very special day for the couple's out there, I might not have give gifts or present to my family but I made sure that I can give them love, care and affection towards them.

                     I am here to share to you my experience in valentine's day. Our school decided to give us a color coding for valentine's day and wear it for a day, color of clothes with meaning like black for "Hindi umabot sa february 14", I wear a clothes which no meaning cause I didn't confess yet, if I confess I might change the color of my shirt with a meaning. As I enter the classroom almost all of them wear white shirts with a meaning "I can buy myself flowers" and I am just the one wearing a different shirt, I didn't expect that they all wear white shirt. And actually I don't really expect to receive some letters and flower in this celebration, Actually I'm just hoping for it, hoping that someone will give me a letter nor a flowers. The one who gave me flower and letter is my friend, a friend that is in my side to help me and a friend who helps me with my problems about school. I gave some gift too for my friend because I did not gave her a Christmas Gift so I just think that this might be the chance that I can give it to her and hopefully she loves it so am I, I feel really great that she likes it even though it is not that many. I gave flower too to my friend whom she hope that someone will give her a flower so I secretly gave her a one piece of flower that I buy in Pandayan. I just want to be a lovely and kind friend to them so I gave what I can to them, I couldn't give any gift to my other friends because I couldn't make a card cause so many schoolworks has been given to us. I might not give them a gift but I greet them with a smile. I wish that someday I will give a gifts to my friends whom I trust the most, give them gifts every holidays like Valentine's Day.

                              My valentine's day is very fun, exciting and amazing even though we have a class. Yes we have a class but not all subjects take class because they want us to celebrate it more fun and exciting. I might not have give my teachers a flower but I greet them with love and smile. I have a very fun and amazing Valentine's Day because of the people whom I have right now, they are the one who makes me happy and I'm thankful for them. Hope that you will experience some beautiful Valentine's too!. Once Again Happy Valentine's Day!

      Kannawidan is celebrate in the month of February in the city of vigan. this is to celebrate the anniversary of the city with so many traditional activities and performance like street dancing, "sanyata ti agtutubo", neon fun run, float parade and others. Governor Jerry Singson also invites artist to participate in celebrating the anniversary of the city which they will be performing and also hosting to some activities. The most awaited part of the kannawidan is the artist who will be visiting because I am willing to go if someone I know or my idol is coming to the kannawidan, I am happy that I got to see mayonnaise which is a band that visited and performs many songs but what I awaited the most is their very popular song "jopay", I'm so greatful that they give us a very amazing and wonderful performance after they leave. Many people attend to kannawidan so much that I can't find my friends whom I will be with, but it is the most fun at all, finding each other of us.

 

        There is also a fair trade which is where all the town in the province of Ilocos sur sell their local products, I visited this and I saw many local products that I have not seen although I know the name of the town but what caught me more is the food trade so I just straight ahead there and ate after that I take a walk in the fairs trade, I saw some get haena or tattoo and what more fun is one of my friend got a haena with just a 100 pesos, I want it too but my mother will scold me so I just pass through it and take a walk on another towns, it is so amazing how they built the houses or just a small house. It is so fun this kannawidan and I'm overwhelmed that this celebrating is much more appreciated now and more modern but I still miss the old style of celebrating the kannawidan so many known artist come here, many students visit and people. 

        

          Hoping that this kannawidan will be the best experience for all the foreigner or tourist who come here for vacation and Feel’ed greatful for having the best experience in this. Let's go Ilocos sur, "One Ilocos Sur!". Kannawidan Intayon Ilocos Sur~ Sure Ilocos Sur!
