              The world is full of humankind, a kind, ungrateful, diligent, and lazy souls. Where Every human in the world has responsibilities or roles to follow, like being a good citizen in a community or around the world. However, they are a part of our life whom we should be thankful. in every first day of may, we celebrate the day of workers and also known as the “labor day”.

               International workers day, also known as Labour day in some countries, is a celebration of  labourer's  and the  working classes  that is promoted by the international  Labour movement  and occurs every year on first day of may. Labour day in many countries is celebrated on a different date, often one with special significance for the labour movement in a country. In Philippines, labor day is celebrated annually to celebrate hardworking Filipinos across the country. Also, labour day in Filipino is known as ‘Araw ng Mga Manggagawa’, where many Filipino always await for this holiday to relax and spend the day with their family and friends. Moreover, these activities draw attention to their complaints, which include the minimum wage, inhumane working conditions, and other issues that undermine the rights of employees. every hardworking Filipino is celebrated on this day, no matter what their job is.

               In conclusion, workers must have a holiday and we must celebrate to commemorate their hard work or hardships to suppl their needs, family and to our society. They are the most important people or citizen in the world for though without them, our society will not go up, no more new products and etc.  We must make importance about them so that they will feel the love and care we have for them. To all workers out there, I thank and salute you very much, keep doing the best job for our society. Thank you Workers!

"Threequart"

I can say that it is fun and enjoyable learning this third quarter even though Many challenges I encounter are difficult but with trust in myself, I overcome them. This third quarter I learned much like codings, how to make HTML, webpage, and others. Moreover, I have many complaints but what I think is "This is for me and my future", Through this third quarter I have always had a positive mind and been cheerful as always.

I must say that the third quarter is very enjoyable because I become more of a study person, just focusing on learning cause I want to be on the honored list again even though I'm not satisfied with myself, my scores, recitations, and others in this quarter. the challenges I encounter like cramming, not managing time, stress, and lack of sleep, this challenges I encounter are like a battle that I overcome, it is difficult and not passable. Furthermore, I overcome them with great solutions like having a positive mindset as always, setting an alarm to be correct in time of sleep, managing my time by setting schedules for what to do first and last, and stress, I open some of my problems to my peers like my friends whom I trust the most, my family, who is always there for me and others. This challenges of mine may seem difficult but overcoming it with a positive thinking and mindset can help you more in doing a good decisions. This quarter may seem very hectic for me or even my classmates but we never forget to enjoy and have fun in the lowest point in us, in which we are united when we need help from each other and if someone needed us. 

In this Third quarter I learned also that having someone by your side, who loved, cares, and teaches you is the best armor or shield, that encourage you to be more confident, that you can do it even for a little mistake they know that you can  do it. This quarter is very enjoyable and fun even though we crammed sometimes. Hoping for more improvement and hoping to be in the honor list again, good luck to the last quarter, goodbye third quarter.

 "Holidays:erience"

                 The holy week also known as "Semana Santa" in the Philippines is celebrated every month of April, which starts on Palm Sunday to the Sunday before Easter. The week also includes five days of special significance, Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday Easter Sunday.  Holy week is a part of our life to celebrate in which we must celebrate it no matter what happens because this is a very important holiday in our life.

Starting on Sunday or which is called Palm Sunday where we Celebrate Jesus's triumphant entry into Jerusalem, In which I go to church with my aunt and we buy "palapas" where we will shake or wave to be blessed by the Father. Palm Sunday also has a lot of happenings, when we are going to Vigan from Sta. Catalina my uncle said that there is an accident on the highway,  so my uncle drive carefully so that we can't be in an accident. Maundy Thursday Commemorates the foot washing and the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, what I did in the day was do some house chores/cleaning, do some schoolwork, and rest. Good Friday Commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary, this is where we couldn't eat meat, I feel sad because I can't eat my favorite food which is "tultulang na sinigangan", in the afternoon at 3:00 pm we go to church, and attend the "libot" where many people from each barangay in our municipality attended, we buy a candle and

light it as we walk with the saints we are parading and honestly, it is so windy that we cannot light the candle so I just walk without lighting the candle after the libot we all leave in the church and go home. Holy Saturday Commemorates Jesus' body resting in the tomb, what I did in the day was do some house chores/cleaning, do some school work, and rest. Lastly, the Easter Sunday when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and his victory over death, I woke up early in the morning to go to the beach because it is easter sunday or we called it "the Sabado Gloria" which my family cooks some food to take it with us and eat at the beach, we had so much fun in the beach, we swim, have fun and eat, after we finish we go home. After we got home I didn't realize that my body is full of sand that comes from the beach, at 3:pm in the afternoon I got ready for we will attend the mass for Easter Sunday, and I wore my best outfit for it. 

           This holy week is a memorable one for me despite the bad happenings, also even though there might be some accidents and lots of happenings, we all know that god has been with us, who forgive and guide us through our life. Also, we must never forget that this holy week is important.

"A Big Occasion"

                          A big occasion occurs on March 25, 2023, at Ilocos Sur National High School. Yet, It's the 121st Anniversary of the school with the theme "Renewed Commitment in Defying odds to transcend heights of excellence and solidarity", Where many performances, intermissions, and addresses have been done during this celebration.

                Students and Teachers have been practicing for a whole day to present fascinating and beautiful performances for the occasion. Moreover, This occasion gave me a very unforgettable experience in which I enjoyed the fascinating performances of the students.  Students who participated in the performance looked so cheerful and energetic and that's the reason why we were hyped about their dancing and cheering, we cheered and enjoy it a lot. After the performances end, we go to our classroom and cool down for a minute before we go home. 

              On this occasion I realize that enjoyment and happiness can be filled with us when we are united just like this high school day, students and teachers unite to show fascinating performances and cheer for each other a lot. Despite not participating in this high school day we were overwhelmed by the performances that they shared with us. This may be the last high school day we participate in this school year but it is the most unforgettable experience of mine where my classmates, teachers, and friends are there to be with us, and to enjoy ourselves.

             The month of March is celebrated for women, it’s called National Woman Month. It celebrate the achievements, experiences, gender equality, empowerment and ohers, This month is also very important to women or to the whole world, not only to recognize what women have done. Women are also called "Strong Independent Woman" because of their hard work, perseverance and intelligence. So here we examine how they should be treated and the gender equality.

 

           People nowadays have their own role’s, Men and Women but Women have more responsibility, that’s why they are so called “Strong Independent Women”. They have a very caring, lovable and nice personality, not all but we find women for what they are and accept them for who they are. Women’s is also very talented and creative, they are good in solving problems, they can carry heavy things and others. Discrimination is the first issue that has to women because in the past women and men have no equality, it is all men that has a power to  be the principle, president and other. Until as time passes by it all phases out, The orders that have been made is all gone, Gender Equality comes that’s why now is so peaceful. Peacefulness is what we all want and that will give us a positive and happiness from each other. Women's must be love, care and protected they are the best when it comes to things, where even men couldn't do.

 

          Women are beautiful whatever their size, weight, face, skin, sex and other. We all have the same role’s but not all is the same. We have our own responsibilities so that’s why we must keep up the good work we are doing. Also men Should not discourage women’s so that in the end we will find love and peace from each other. Labanan ang karapatan ng mga Babae at iwagayway ang bandera!

                    A great morning has woken me up cause it's valentine's day. Valentine's day is where we celebrate in the month/day of February 14 and give flowers or gifts to our loved one's, also valentine's day is said to be "Araw ng mga puso". This Valentine's Day is said to be for couple but for me it is not because we can give flowers to our parents, friends, teachers and others. Valentine's day is just an ordinary day but sometimes people think that this is a very special day for the couple's out there, I might not have give gifts or present to my family but I made sure that I can give them love, care and affection towards them.

                     I am here to share to you my experience in valentine's day. Our school decided to give us a color coding for valentine's day and wear it for a day, color of clothes with meaning like black for "Hindi umabot sa february 14", I wear a clothes which no meaning cause I didn't confess yet, if I confess I might change the color of my shirt with a meaning. As I enter the classroom almost all of them wear white shirts with a meaning "I can buy myself flowers" and I am just the one wearing a different shirt, I didn't expect that they all wear white shirt. And actually I don't really expect to receive some letters and flower in this celebration, Actually I'm just hoping for it, hoping that someone will give me a letter nor a flowers. The one who gave me flower and letter is my friend, a friend that is in my side to help me and a friend who helps me with my problems about school. I gave some gift too for my friend because I did not gave her a Christmas Gift so I just think that this might be the chance that I can give it to her and hopefully she loves it so am I, I feel really great that she likes it even though it is not that many. I gave flower too to my friend whom she hope that someone will give her a flower so I secretly gave her a one piece of flower that I buy in Pandayan. I just want to be a lovely and kind friend to them so I gave what I can to them, I couldn't give any gift to my other friends because I couldn't make a card cause so many schoolworks has been given to us. I might not give them a gift but I greet them with a smile. I wish that someday I will give a gifts to my friends whom I trust the most, give them gifts every holidays like Valentine's Day.

                              My valentine's day is very fun, exciting and amazing even though we have a class. Yes we have a class but not all subjects take class because they want us to celebrate it more fun and exciting. I might not have give my teachers a flower but I greet them with love and smile. I have a very fun and amazing Valentine's Day because of the people whom I have right now, they are the one who makes me happy and I'm thankful for them. Hope that you will experience some beautiful Valentine's too!. Once Again Happy Valentine's Day!

      Kannawidan is celebrate in the month of February in the city of vigan. this is to celebrate the anniversary of the city with so many traditional activities and performance like street dancing, "sanyata ti agtutubo", neon fun run, float parade and others. Governor Jerry Singson also invites artist to participate in celebrating the anniversary of the city which they will be performing and also hosting to some activities. The most awaited part of the kannawidan is the artist who will be visiting because I am willing to go if someone I know or my idol is coming to the kannawidan, I am happy that I got to see mayonnaise which is a band that visited and performs many songs but what I awaited the most is their very popular song "jopay", I'm so greatful that they give us a very amazing and wonderful performance after they leave. Many people attend to kannawidan so much that I can't find my friends whom I will be with, but it is the most fun at all, finding each other of us.

 

        There is also a fair trade which is where all the town in the province of Ilocos sur sell their local products, I visited this and I saw many local products that I have not seen although I know the name of the town but what caught me more is the food trade so I just straight ahead there and ate after that I take a walk in the fairs trade, I saw some get haena or tattoo and what more fun is one of my friend got a haena with just a 100 pesos, I want it too but my mother will scold me so I just pass through it and take a walk on another towns, it is so amazing how they built the houses or just a small house. It is so fun this kannawidan and I'm overwhelmed that this celebrating is much more appreciated now and more modern but I still miss the old style of celebrating the kannawidan so many known artist come here, many students visit and people. 

        

          Hoping that this kannawidan will be the best experience for all the foreigner or tourist who come here for vacation and Feel’ed greatful for having the best experience in this. Let's go Ilocos sur, "One Ilocos Sur!". Kannawidan Intayon Ilocos Sur~ Sure Ilocos Sur!

                     A very wonderful day, why are you here? You know it's now the 2nd quarter in our school, Oh I might introduce myself first,I am Riah so well I want to share some experience of mine while I am studying even though many obstacle comes. 2nd quarter is so very challenging for me, why? Because there are so many school works to do like doing the thematic,public speaking and others. It is hard for me but there is always a light that helps me and that is my family, friends and fellows, they help me by just supporting in what I will do, help me with my problems like checking the grammars of what i wrote. 

                 They scold me sometimes but they are willing to help even though they are angry. Our subject teachers are so amazing in teaching, I'm amazed because they are ready to help what you don't understand. There is this time that I couldn't go to school because I get sick, so when I go back to school I can't cope up because I don't know what did they learn for the past days but my teachers help me understand what is what and I clearly easily understand it because they put so much effort in teaching me. I am very thank ful for their supports, care and love for us.

              I give all my best this 2nd quarter, many problems may come but I overcome it with positive mind. Many challenges and difficulty but someone will come and  willing to help you. I pray for my pass this 2nd quarter, honestly I think I did all my best to achieve my goal which is to become an honor, I might not make in first quarter but I am fighting and encouraging myself that I will make it this time. See you in 3rd quarter and good luck self! Fighting!

"Expe-Festa VIGAN CITY"

            A joyous day, adult... kid... foreigner... crowded Vigan City Ilocos Sur. It is a very fun experience to be in here, I'm so lucky to see a beautiful sceneries although I'm from another town. There are so many activities that is going on so I'm very excited for what I will gonna watch. Spot so many dancers, drums, table lires, trumpet and others, actually I was shock because so many people crowded in front of the city hall, I thought myself, is someone fighting? Is something going on? But actually it was a street dancing where from each schools participated, dancing, shouting their yells and playing instruments like the drums, table lire and trumpets. I'm so amazed by their creativity, their costumes, chants, choreography and confidence. They are all very happy not showing any sad face of them, their smile filled with love and happiness while dancing and playing instruments. I ask some people for what is going on, why are they dancing with the statue of San Pablo and they say it is the longganisa festival, a festival that celebrates in the month/day of January 22-25. I'm truly happy because I discover so many things that I don't know about this city, and I'm greatful because I came for the right time. The festival ends with the street dancers going around the city until the Plaza Burgos.

                          After that I hear some people saying let's go to Carnaval, I ask them where is that and gave me the direction where to go, they said you can't walk from here to there so you must ask the tricycles over there to take you there and ask how much will it cost to go there. I did what they said, I'd ask some of the tricycle driver, they are very kind and friendly, I ask how much it will cost to go to Carnaval and they said it's 20 pesos, I agreed the deal and goes to Carnaval. The tricycle driver talks a lot about the city and what was going on right now, the one that got stuck in my mind is that this month/day January 22-25 is the festival of Vigan City. I'm very happy that I have to see the day of festival in vigan city. I got here in the Carnaval, I see so many people, and many stols I heard many said it's "Ukay Ukay", many food stols where I buy some food then ate after that I enter the Carnaval. I take a minute sight to see the scenery, many rides is what I see like the Viking, Frisbee, Ferris Wheel and others. There are children's play to where they can slide, ride a horse, shooting and etc.

I experience the best in this city, I really really like to come again and see more beautiful spots cause I haven't seen all tourist spot, I will and will comeback again. Vigan city an amazing city that I visited, very kind people, good foods and beautiful sceneries, I like them all, this city I will never forget, a city that has amazing good people and gave me a good experience. So I will come and visit again, Feeled amazing beautiful and greatful.

"The New Me"

 The New Me

The world change, our age change and our self change too, like our manners,face,body and others. In the past years I live as a shy person, not a talkative person, not approachable. I am shy to the people I don’t know, well I did not change this characteristics of mine this days but I’m really trying to change it, after a few months/days I can freely talk to people I want to know now where I got a confidence from myself, I am not that approachable but I think I kinda a bit approachable as days pass now. I am a bit talkative now where I get talk and talk when my friends is around and in my family too.

                From my view to myself I am introvert in the past but now I am an ambivert half introvert half extrovert. I tried to change everything so that i can hype with people I want to know or not so that they can feel comfortable around me. I try to be friendly now so I had a lot of friends but I have trust issues so i have to be aware whom I can choose to be friend, its not that I will not like them but they must know their limits too. I am very thankful to god because I got the chance to change, I change for the better and I change for them.

On the month/day of December 25 every year is when jesus christ is born and the day of Christmas. Every Christmas day we celebrate as a family where I feel very happy, exciting and joyful. I feel happy when Christmas is coming, why? Because it is the day we are complete as a family and where I receive some aguinaldo from my ninangs and ninongs. In our tables are full of foods which is called noche buena there are igado, pinakbet, pansit, and many other menu. After eating I help wash our dishes, after that my aunt and uncle let us a play a game to win a money from them, it is just not money is the price but also a food like chicherya. We had a lot of fun when we play games even if we are pressured but it is fun when your family is with you they give you confidence or courage to try hard. We are very happy when christmas comes because it feels like not a regular day but a special day for a people like us.
